The Margate Business Marketing Day last Saturday was held to attract more customers to businesses in Marine Drive. Lots of entertainment, food and specials formed part of the festivities.
South Coasters arrived in their numbers for the ‘Moove for Hooves’ ramble at Munster Sports Grounds last Sunday. This was a special fundraiser for the local SPCA.

Shelly Centre hosted a ‘Shades of Pink’ event last weekend, in aid of breast cancer awareness. Fashion shows, giveaways, hair spraying, and fun family entertainment formed part of the attractions.
Mrs SA finalist Reevana Govender hosted a brunch at Port Shepstone Senior Primary last Sunday. Proceeds from the event will go to Child Welfare, Port Shepstone.
The International Food Festival hosted by Christ the King Catholic Church in Port Shepstone was a tremendous success. Cuisine from the USA, India, Uganda, Polans, Italy and South Africa was on offer.
The spooky atmosphere at the Village Tavern, Margate last Friday was well worth the experience. It was the tavern’s halloween party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night.
