A laid-back Damon hosted his mid-morning show between 9am and noon, during which the public kindly donated toys for this year’s Toy Story campaign.

More than 250 toys filled two boxes to capacity. An amazing R7 500 in cash donations was also received.

Kindly donating towards the Toy Story campaign is Wayne Hammond and his wife, Kerry from Ramsgate.

“Toy Story is an initiative that I hold very close to my heart, so to see so many people come through to Southcoast Mall to bring joy to children was heart-warming. Thank you to the people of the South Coast for your immense support and donations that are sure to make a tangible and life changing difference. I cannot wait to see what our Corporate Day will hold,” said Damon.

The initiative, now in its 18th year, has touched the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children in KZN.
