The next sponsored competition is the Tops Port Edward men’s pairs this Sunday, July 15, followed by the Warwick mixed trips on Wednesday July 18.

Please note that the GP Security mixed pairs date has been changed and will now be played on Tuesday, July 24.

HIBBERDENE

Winners of the Tiago’s mixed trips were Bez Bezuidenhout, Werner Mody and Joey Venter.

Runners-up were Eddie Milne, Pauline Howle and Trevor Hazell. Session prize to Ollie Coetzer, Hana Svoboda and Charles Peters.

Next competition will be the Hibberdene Pharmacy mixed trips this Friday (13th).

MARGATE BC

The Georgia Spur tabs competition was won by Trevor Heywood, James Mitchell, Barry Mollett and Yvonne Bausek.

Winners of the Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach men’s 2-4-2 were Deon van Schalkwyk and Hans van der Walt.

Runners-up were Brian Douthwaite and Bill Eccles.

Session to Gary Hess and Dereck Schorn. 50/50 winner was Barry Mollett.

Food Lover’s Market open trips this Friday (13th) at 1.30pm. KBA singles semi-finals and finals this Sunday (15th).

Social bowls every Sunday morning at 9am. Duty: Office – Johnny Louch; tea – Pam Cole-Cook/Vi Pells.

MUNSTER

Hi Rock mixed pairs winners were Chris Green and Val Smith, from Arthur Ronaldson and Leone Bloem.

Second session to Hennie and Marie Pretorius. Board to Sergio Ruperto.

Winner of the first ‘Wick Inn Draw’ was Peter Stoll; unfortunately he didn’t attend so money rolls over to next draw on Friday, July 20 at 5pm.

PORT EDWARD

Winners of the Realty 1 open trips were Peter Ziervogel, Leigh Warner and Sarina Ziervogel.

Runners-up were Don Saunders, Derek Wicks and Myra Doubell. Second session went to Val Smith, with Sergio and Pat Ruperto.

Social tabs in bowls this Saturday (14th) at 1.30pm.

SOUTHBROOM

The Mariners open fours last week was won by John Keppler, Steve Rennie, Aubrey Hood and Rob Payne.

Runners-up were Ina Malan, Dereck Schorn, Carl Volker and Ralph Burls.

First session to Hazel Hosken, Norman Isherwood, Ivan Hosken and Dawn Oehley.

Second session to Alfred Shusha, Nico Mantoan, Mariette du Preez and Loraine Wijtman. 50/50 board to Ralph Burls.

THE BELL

Harbour View SuperSpar mixed fours winners were Peet and Susan van Rooyen with Brendan Nicholas and Kilana Pretorius.

Second were Denise and Tickey Nel with Margaret Brooks and Kevin Mullen.

The session prize went to Rynier van Tonder, Hennie Greyling, Maureen Vorster and Louis Marx.

The next sponsored competition will be the Fruit and Veg 2-4-2 next Tuesday (17th).

Warwick sponsored club tabs in afternoon this Friday (13th). Entry form on the board and will players please bring a plate of eats.

VILLAGE

The Hibiscus Retirement Village men’s trips winners were Denzil Massyn, Gary Hess and Carl Volker.

Runners-up were Dereck Schorn, Hans Hugo and Manny Rodriques.

Session winners were Alan Tyers, Clive Bignall and Bill Parfitt, as well as Norman Isherwood, Fred Askam and Derrick Shell. 50/50 went to Gary Hess.

The Food Lover’s Market drawn pairs/trips winners were Ken Hills and Bill Reed from Alan Tyers and Nelia Reed.

Third place went to Hazel Hoskins, Hugh Holland and Lucas Landman.
