Former pupil speaks at Hlanganani Prep

Former Hlanganani Preparatory pupil Thembelihle Zulu addressed last Friday’s assembly to emphasise three facets of education, namely vision, focus and hard work.

Thembelihle attended the school from gr 00 all the way to gr 7 in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Business Sciences degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2017 and is currently pursuing her

Masters in Development Finance at the UCT Graduate School of Business.

She is also a 2018 Mandela Rhodes scholar – an institute that seeks to empower young leaders from across the African continent.

Thembelihle is passionate about education, entrepreneurship and development and hopes to use this to impact the lives of others and attributes much of her success to the strong foundation from her academic beginnings at Hlanganani Preparatory, as well as from setting her own personal goals.
