PEP stores in the Scottburgh central business district was burgled between 1pm on Sunday afternoon 7.30am on Monday morning.
“Staff discovered the break-in when they reported for work on Monday morning,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
Entry is believed to have been gained to the premises by removing roof tiles.

The store’s safes had been forced open and an undisclosed sum of money taken.
Other stolen items include various makes of cellphones. A case of business burglary was registered at the Scottburgh Saps and is under investigation.
