Islamic School is geared up for sports

Apart from academics which commenced on day one, pupils at Port Shepstone Islamic School, are geared for a thrilling sporting line-up.

The interphase soccer league got off to an exciting start as both boys’ and girls’ teams completed their matches.

Karate classes, which take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, commenced last week.

Cricket training has also started and U11, U13, U15 and U17 teams look forward to many matches and taking of wickets.

Diarise Sunday, February 11, when the U13 and U15 soccer teams take on Orient Islamic School from 2 to 4pm for a friendly match on their turf.

Collections for the ‘Water for Cape Town’ project continue and all generous contributions towards this noble cause are highly appreciated.
