#Matric2017: Suid-Natal High celebrates top matric marks

Suid-Natal High class of 2017 achieved a 93 percent pass rate.

Of the school’s 59 pupils, 28 learners obtained admission to a bachelor’s degree in the National Senior Certificate exams.

The school’s principal, Marie Botha congratulated the matric pupils and teachers on their pass rate.

“Without the hard work, the commitment and dedication, these good results would not have been possible,” she said.

The top three of the matric group are Jason Saayman, Juriezelle Potgieter and Ashley van der Westhuizen.

Top achiever at Suid-Natal High is Jason Saayman with four As. He plans to study teaching at UNISA. Congratulating him is his classmate, Eyleen Botes.

She said the school was extremely proud of Jason who was the dux learner for 2017, and matriculated with four distinctions.
