Sabera takes top honours at Jai Hind Primary

Jai Hind Primary held their awards function (the highlight of the academic year) last Friday at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre.

Former pupil and physiotherapist by profession, Abdul Aziz Cader, was the guest of honour.

Foundation Phase pupils received book prizes for achievements and Intermediate and Senior Phase pupils received trophies for their efforts both in the classroom and on the sports field.

Special mention must be made of pupils Sabera Ramjoo, who walked away with the coveted Dux, Good Fellowship, Gail Papli for best science pupil and the top achiever Dwarika awards, Jayden Jumna, who received the Malcolm Moonsamy award for sporting excellence, Caleb Appalsamy and Jamie Lee Francis, who took the Sports Boy and Girl for 2017 awards and Nkanyiso Nguni (gr 7) scooped the PK Govender Memorial award for Most Improved.

The principal, staff and governing body members wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
