Shelly Beach Lions donate R10 000 to South Coast Hospice

SHELLY Beach Lions recently hosted a live comedy and music show ‘Party in the Pits’ at Dezzi South Coast Raceway.

Artists included Mo Vawda, Deep-Fried Man and Jem Atkins and local band The Gentry. Last Thursday, the club acknowledged its major sponsors at Hillbillion Estate. Sponsors were invited and handed certificates of appreciation for making the ‘Party in the Pits’ a huge success.

The highlight of the event was when Shelly Beach Lions handed a R10 000 donation to South Coast Hospice from funds raised at the event.

President of the club Mark Brauteseth said the event could not have been held without the generous sponsors. “We are ever grateful and thankful for the sponsors and all those service providers for making the event a success,” he said.
