A pensioner was stabbed during a robbery at her Edgerton Road, Freeland Park home  on Monday last week.

“She heard a noise and opened the door and the security gate to check up on her dog. This is when she was accosted by three intruders,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.

When she tried to shut and lock the security gate, one of the intruders stabbed her in the hand and managed to enter the house.
