Foschini in the Scottburgh CBD suffered yet another burglary last week, but this time overnight and without any interruptions.
Staff walked into the shop on Wednesday morning, only to discover that they had been burgled.

“They discovered that the alarm system had had its wires severed and had been deactivated. Entry had been gained through the roof,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
Holes had also been cut into the safes containing cellphones and many had been taken.
The store’s safe containing money had also been forced open and an undisclosed sum of money stolen.

It appears the burglars also helped themselves to clothing, fragrances and cosmetics.
A case of business burglary has been registered at the Scottburgh SAPS for investigations.
No arrests have been made as yet.
