Mayoral imbizos start – let your voice be heard

Ugu mayor Mondli Chiliza.

Everyone is invited to take part in this year’s mayoral imbizos, which take place in October and November this year.

Ugu District Municipality, together with all other local municipalities, will be holding a series of community engagements with the focus on service delivery.

It is therefore important to attend in order to provide your input on how best the municipality can provide services where they are needed most.

Although the Umuziwabantu Municipality’s imbizos started yesterday (Wednesday), those living in wards 7, 8 and 9 can still attend the meeting at Mkhoba Hall tomorrow, Friday, October 20.

Residents of wards 1, 2, 3 and 10 are encouraged to attend the meeting at Kwadumisa sportsground this Monday, October 23.

Both meetings start at 10am

Ray Nkonyeni Municipality has the following scheduled:

* Cluster 3 – KwaNzimakwe Tribal Court on November 2

* Cluster 5 – Bhuqu Community Hall on November 3

* Cluster 2 – Mvutshini Community Hall on November 6

* Cluster 6 – Oshabeni Community Hall on November 7

* Cluster 1 – Mhlabunzima Community Hall on November 8
