All you need to know about this Sunday’s last Walking in Nature ramble

THE ninth and final walk of the Southern Shoreline Challenge series will be held this Sunday, September 17, starting in Port Edward and finishing at the Umtamvuna River Lodge.

Cost is R20 per person, and all funds raised will be donated to  conservation groups.

Registration and coffee starts at the Port Edward main beach (near the NSRI base) at 7am, and walkers will set off at 7.30am.

Walking in Nature (WIN) walkers will be transported in boats to the lovely Umtamvuna River Lodge, where the final prize giving will take place.

Registration, morning coffee, walk and boat ride is R20.

Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach will provide transport back to your vehicles at the start. Breakfast rolls at Umtamvuna River Lodge are R30.

Please note:
* You must have a ticket to get onto the boat or shuttle bus at the end of the walk, (available at registration R20)
* Allow extra time for the boat ride and prize giving at the end.
* Sorry, NO dogs for this walk.
* Please leave your vehicle at the start (Port Edward), Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach will provide a shuttle service back to the start.
* T-shirts sponsored by Ugu South Coast Tourism will be handed out at the start to WIN walkers who have completed all nine legs of the series and one of these lucky walkers will also win a weekend away sponsored by Palm Beach Chalets. Please wear your T-shirts for the walk.
* Breakfast rolls, refreshments, Sunday lunch, water activities – all available at the Umtamvuna River Lodge.
