Sheppie Snippets: Andhras take to the big screen

The Port Shepstone Andhra Sabha has arranged a private screening of the Indian Telugu romantic blockbuster movie 'Ninnu Kori'. Movie will be screened at Ster Kinekor, Shelly Centre on August 27.

FANS of big screen Indian movies can look forward to some exciting eastern entertainment.

The Port Shepstone Andhra Sabha has arranged a private screening of the Indian Telugu romantic blockbuster movie ‘Ninnu Kori’ (Let’s Welcome Life) on Sunday, August 27 at Shelly Centre, Ster Kinekor cinema. The screening is scheduled for 1pm. The movie has already received rave reviews, as it is a modern love story with a difference. With English subtitles running throughout the movie, the audience can easily follow the storyline and action. Tickets cost R100 each and only 100 cinema tickets are available. Should there be a greater demand for tickets, a second show may be scheduled, subject to confirmation and further blockbuster Telugu Indian movies may be screened, subject to interest and demand. Gita Week

Autism is the topic

Stonecroft Ministries’ next monthly tea takes place at Mbango Valley next Friday, August 18 at 9am for 9.30am. Autism will be discussed by Megan Harrell of Genesis. Bread of Heaven

The annual Bread of Heaven charity run is set to take place on October 21. The charity fun run/walk will be held at Port Shepstone Senior Primary and will comprise a 5km and 10km fun run/walk. Each ambassador runner is expected to raise a minimum of R500 to R1 000 by way of sponsorships and donations. Remember one does not need to be an ambassador runner to raise funds.
