PORT Shepstone Senior Primary’s final cricket matches of the term were played against Southcity College last Wednesday.

The U13A team batted first and scored 117 runs. Team captain Micah Naidoo once again top-scored with 42 runs and PSSP finally won by 14 runs.

The U11A team faced a much stronger team and the boys battled to reach Southcity’s 93 runs in 20 overs and only managed to make 57. Although they lost the match, they enjoyed the tough competition.

PSSP recently held a successful book sale. Parents are thanked for their support and urged to continue promoting reading at home.

Last week’s focus has been on assessments and parents are urged to ensure pupils attend school regularly in the remaining weeks of the term.
