Margate Primary cricketers meet Andile

Josh Rinkwest and Thamsanqa Gqamane were delighted to spend time with their hero 'old boy' Andile Phehlukwayo (back, middle) at last week's match between the Dolphins and Warriors.

MARGATE Primary pupils were entertained with ‘The Face in the Mirror’ presented by Production 2000 last week. The story focuses on respect in all forms.

The U11 and U13 cricket teams played against Izotsha last week.

The U11 team played a spirited game and showed much improvement. Parents and supporters were treated to a well-played, thrilling U13 match.

Well done to Izotsha Primary for winning the closely-contested game. Joshua Pillay and Asive Sobhuza played exceptionally well and are commended.

Last Friday, some of the senior cricketers were chosen to watch the game between the Dolphins and the Warriors where they were thrilled to meet ‘old boy’ Andile Phehlukwayo and get autographs and a prized signed Margate shirt and cricket ball.
