Ken said that he believed he had the magic formula for a new type of gym that can deliver health and fitness results to everyone.

“We are so excited to be bringing our health and fitness concept to life,” he said. “The fitness centre is in the ideal location, just below the school hall and is such an inspirational and fun space for us to set up our first gym.”

Fabulous equipment: Natasha Sampathmany and Mohamed Khan love their exercise session.

He explained that it is all about offering a personal service that’s accessible and friendly and encourages people to come back day in, day out.

“We have a comprehensive programme that provides many benefits – a judgement-free environment, weight loss, fitness education, healthier lifestyle, nutrition education, added physical strength and more agility,” Ken said.

Creston College pupils all shared similar sentiments. “It’s great to have this amazing facility so close to home. It’s got everything we need and we’re planning to spend a lot of time here.”

Ready to join: Chad van der Merwe of St Mike’s hopes to sign up as a member of the KA Fitness Centre.

At the moment, the gym caters for all pupils from Creston College and has limited places for the public.
