Izotsha Primary’s young cricketers impress

Budding artists: Izotsha Primary gr 1 pupils (from left) Joel Snyman, Siphe Cenga and Zack Apostolides had a lot of fun creating art for display in the school sports hall.

IZOTSHA Primary cricketers played exciting matches against Margate Primary.

Kelli Ashington and Reece Murray of the U13A team each took three wickets and Bruce Bormann scored 50 runs. Izotsha won the match.

The U11A team won by seven wickets with Zach Lawrence scoring 32 not out.Tristan Sparkman delivered excellent bowling.

He bowled four overs and took two wickets with only eight runs against him. Last Friday senior boys’ and girls’ hockey teams hosted a successful fund-raiser for the upcoming Treverton tournament.

Foundation phase has been busy with some impressive artwork that is on display in the school sports hall.

The new gr R classrooms, the media centre and principal Neville Richards’ office have recently had air conditioners installed.
