SCROLL DOWN FOR THE FULL STORY

Mr Classen, (44), faced charges of attempted murder, or alternatively assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and malicious damage to property.

Mr Classen’s wife, Juliette, said that the biggest tragedy was that these ‘wild claims’ had led them to be stuck in the court system for a long five months.

“In the meantime, my husband’s name has been tarnished as a result of these allegations. It is scary how someone can make unfounded accusations and use the legal system to harm and ruin your reputation,” she said.
