PSHS teams emerge victorious

SHEPPIE High teams were victorious in round one at the South Coast Schools’ rugby, netball and hockey night series which started recently.

The first netball team beat Southcity 9-5 and Creston 13-5.

The second team beat Creston’s second team 10-7. The girls’ first hockey team drew against Southcity Christian College and beat Creston’s second team 7-0.

The first rugby team beat Southcity 33-0. At the cricket matches against Suid-Natal High recently, the first team won by seven wickets. Brinley de Bruin made 21 runs not out and Ty Redinger took three wickets for 11 runs.

The U15 team won by 149 runs. Kyle Malan made 36 not out and Chumanco Zinto 32 not out. Siyanda Mavundla took four wickets for six runs and Luyanda Majola three wickets for 18 runs.
