Local is lekker at these markets

Showing off the delicious homemade boerewors that will be on sale at the Port Shepstone NG Church Christmas bazaar are Jan du Toit (left) and Chappie Buitendag. The bazaar takes place at the church on December 3 from 8am. There will be arts and crafts, Christmas wreaths, decorations and other festive fare as well as a wide range of fresh meat, including some of the best boerewors that will ever grace your braai fire.

KICKING off the festive season markets will be the Mbango Valley Association Christmas fete at Mbango on Saturday, November 26 from 8am. There will be more than 30 stalls selling food, art, crafts, books, jewellery and plenty of other goodies.

The Bethanien Lutheran Church will hold its bumper Christmas bazaar at the church hall in Izotsha on December 3. A wide variety of crafts and Christmas goodies on sale will include homemade traditional German seasonal treats.

Port Shepstone NG church also hosts a big Christmas bazaar. This takes place at the church on December 3 from 8am. As well as all sorts of arts and crafts and festive fare there will be fresh meat, including homemade boerewors and mince.
