UPDATE: MARCH 20

FIVE years have passed since 2012 when Atish ‘Jumperz’ Sewraj (16) was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Marine Drive, Shelly Beach.

Last Wednesday Atish’s family and friends went to court hoping that the case against the driver would start, but it was postponed, once again, this time to July 25.

Atish was the only child of Pravin and Indrani Sewraj of Marburg.

“It’s been five years since our only child was taken away from us. Why are the courts postponing this case for so long? No money will ever bring him back; all we demand is that justice must be done,” said Mr Sewraj.
