Enjoy soup, sherry and singing at Southbroom Golf Club

Guest entertainer Arina de Witt has many local fans.

JOIN charming singer Arina de Witt for an informal, relaxed and inter-active evening of music at Southbroom Golf Club’s next Soup, Sherry and Singing evening at the clubhouse on September 21 from 6pm.

As well as offering guests another sterling performance from Arina, the club will do some fund-raising for South Coast Hospice. There will also be a karaoke session and, for a R200 donation, half of which will go to Hospice and the other half to the club, you can choose a song to go on the karaoke playlist.

The R200 donation will also entitle the donor to nominate someone from the audience to sing the next song, one of his or her own choosing. Should the nominee not wish to sing, he or she can pay a R20 fine and nominate someone else. Should the next nominee decline, a R40 fine will be levied and someone else will be nominated. The fines will keep on going up incrementally until someone is brave enough to sing. All the fine money will go to hospice.

Arina will play the piano and sing and will involve the audience, so her performance will be casual and friendly. Booking is essential. Tickets at R120 are available from the golf club.
