South Coast schools got off to a swinging start this morning.
Port Shepstone Secondary pupils were placed in the top five in the Ugu District.
The school scored an excellent 96,2 percent pass rate in the 2016 matric examination.
Mohammed Sohail Shaik attained three As and a distinction aggregate of 81 percent.
The star pupil hopes to study medicine this year.
Marburg Secondary received an overall pass rate of 92,26 percent.
Thirty-three pupils obtained admission to study for a bachelor’s degree.
School principal, Sivalingam Moodley wished all pupils well and congratulated those who achieved great results.
Port Shepstone High School has again produced the goods.
