Golfer Simoné Ferreira stars at San Lameer

SAN Lameer Country Club played host to the recent 2017 SA Kids Junior Africa Challenge. Young golfers travelled from far afield to take part.

The top three in each group qualified to take part in various major international tournaments. They also earn world amateur ranking points.

Professional golfer Mark McNulty was in attendance to hand out the prizes.

Local golfer Simoné Ferreira of Port Shepstone Country Club, won the Girls 12 age group on scores of 84, 90 and 90.

She’s part of the Mark McNulty Academy and has shown steady improvement over the past year.

Girls 15: 1 Taytana Nyanchama; 2 Dermoné van der Burgh; 3 Mogomotsi Sebata.
