Izotsha Primary focuses on sport

Izotsha Primary foundation phase pupils (from left) Tenjiwe Mbili, Hana Asmal and Lana Wundram took part in the exciting interhouse athletics last week.

IZOTSHA Primary foundation phase pupils had an exciting week playing sport at Southcity and enjoying an exciting inter-house athletics day.

There was a lot of jubilation as competitors were enthusiastically encouraged. Leopard House finally won, Jaguar came second and Panther, third. Much fun was had by all.

Boys’ hockey and girls’ netball was played against Southcity and it proved a thoroughly enjoyable opportunity.

Intermediate and senior phase pupils look forward to their imminent sports day and have been practising war cries. Cross-country runners are preparing for the interschool event to be hosted by Port Edward Primary at Beaver Creek.
