OPINION: ‘My experience at licensing department was pleasant’

DEAR Editor,-

I have heard so many bad things about going to renew a driver’s licence that I was prepared for the worst, but that was not the case.

I can honestly say that the service was excellent, very efficient and professional. I went on August 2 and it took me 15 minutes to get the application done and paid for.

I take my hat off to the staff as they see many people per day and cannot idly chat to each applicant.

To all the staff, I wish them well and thank them for the excellent service I received.

A word to applicants – ensure that you have all the correct documentation and also do your share by stopping all the bad publicity of this department.
