The ‘exclusive club’ aims to remove the social ills of men by grooming and breeding a new generation that will be accountable for their actions and take responsibility for their lives.

For the women, the PhumlaniM Foundation launched its Her2Her Connect project on Sunday, July 5 at the Margate Hotel, under the theme ‘the inner strength of a purposeful woman.’

Members of the PhumlaniM Foundation are (from left) Nwabisa Dubase, Dimpho Masondo, Luyolo JamJam, Sinazo Nompozolo and Sibabalwe Kwetana.

“As a foundation, we have noticed that insecurities, fear, lack of self-confidence and the need to belong, to mention a few, are some of the many adjectives that can be used to describe young girls or women residing in society,” said Phumlani.

Her2Her Connect is a project which aims to provide a platform for young women to communicate, bond and connect on a deeper level, while tackling some of the issues that they face on a day-to-day basis.

Phumlani said they realised there is capability potential in the Eastern Cape and in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

“We are exploring to Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay and Durban and have also approached the Gauteng province and we will soon be launching a branch in Braamfontein and the East Rand region,” he added.

Phumlani said they were excited to meet the new members as their objectives strongly stand for the improvement of young lives. If you would like to join, contact them via PhumlaniM Foundation or contact Phumlani at 083 8713303.
