Brent van Zyl from Flavours serves the popular slow-roasted pork belly with sweet and sour ginger sauce, red cabbage and apple salsa to Jaco Smit.

LOCATED in the Lifestyle Centre in Ramsgate, Flavours Restaurant continues to live up to its well deserved reputation of superior service combined with a great fusion of tastes from around the world.

The eatery offers good old-fashioned hospitality and is a place where you can relax and enjoy classic international dishes with a South African twist. Fresh, locally sourced and free-range ingredients are used as much as possible in the preparation of food to ensure your meal is a memorable one.

Expand your food horizons and discover mouth-watering appetisers such as smoked ostrich carpaccio and deep fried Camembert with fig preserve. You will be impressed by the selection of mains, which includes slow roasted duck or venison loin, spicy Moroccan lamb, chicken and prawn Thai green curry and, for seafood lovers, a perfectly cooked linefish that melts in the mouth.

Round off your exquisite dinner with one of the tempting desserts, including options such as the gooey chocolate delight or Key lime pie.

The wine list offers a selection of fine wines sourced from different estates around the country.

Depending on the occasion, you could choose to enjoy your meal in the relaxing, yet elegant dining area or you could dine alfresco on the fully covered patio overlooking a charming little garden.
