Mixed results for Southcity on the sports field

Sterling performance: Southcity netball girls (from left) Katleho Ramorobi (U17), Sarah-Joy Pringle (U15), Nangamso Majeke (U17), Nadia Poser (U13) and Ukhona Maqubela (U12) were chosen for the Ugu netball team.

SOUTHCITY Senior Primary hosted a hockey festival last Saturday and Izotsha Primary, Port Edward Primary, Curro Hillcrest Christian Academy and Southcity took part.

College netball girls played against Creston last Wednesday and the U16 team won 5-4, the second team lost their match and the first team won 16-13.

In the College hockey teams’ matches against Port Shepstone, the first boys’ team lost 1-0, the U16 boys lost 1-1 and the U14 team won 2-1. Both the U16 girls and the second team drew 0-0 and the U15 girls won 0-2.
