UPDATE: Tow truck drivers in fist fight following accident near Scottburgh Mall

The owner of Riverbend Towlines, Nitesh Maharaj, has denied that Retesh Singh is employed by his company as originally reported. Mr Singh had indicated to our reporter that he was an employee of the company. We apologise to Mr Maharaj for any inconvenience caused.

A TAXI and another vehicle were involved in a collision near the Scottburgh Mall earlier today and although no one was injured, the accident had unforeseen consequences.

After the crash tow trucks descended on the scene, seemingly from all directions.

Retesh Singh says that while en-route, he was nearly forced off the road by another tow service.

When he arrived, a scuffle broke out between between himself and the other tow service employee, and blows were exchanged.

The other man, known only as ‘Tyrone’, sped off in a fit of rage.

Police are investigating.
