Creston College puts charity first

Well played: Creston cricketers Sibusiso Cele (left) and Joseph Currie have been selected to represent the Ugu district.

CRESTON College generously supports many charitable projects that make a difference.

Gr 3 classes visited Inkulu Primary and handed over ‘Back to School’ bags that they made from the proceeds of a mini market held last year; Senior Primary donated R1 000 from a civvies day fund-raiser to the Ndovela family who sadly lost their daughter Samkelisiwe in a tragic accident at the beginning of February, and a R2 500 donation from last year’s Chaos of Colour Walk was handed over to CANSA last Friday.

The school is extremely proud of Sibusiso Cele and Joseph Currie who have been selected for the U11 Ugu District cricket team.

Gr 7 pupils are invited to write the 2018 gr 8 entrance tests on March 17 or 24 and must report to the marketing office by 1.45pm for the exams that commence at 2pm. Attendance must be confirmed with Lynne Harley at 039 6855562.
