Scripture Union teaches children about freedom through beach fun

CLOSE to 68 happy children enjoyed Scripture Union South Coast’s Beach Fun Day at St Michael’s beach recently.

Activities included playing games, including passing containers of water over their heads without looking; escaping from a maze; swimming, various obstacle challenges and singing.

Each child received a hot dog and a cooldrink.

Children enjoyed a feast of fun activities at the beach.

“Children listened attentively, while we used the bible story of Manasseh to share how God can set us free from the things that trap us. The children had loads of fun and did not want to leave. We pulled out all the stops to keep the youngsters entertained and they were perfectly happy to spend the afternoon close to the sea.

“It was so lovely seeing them enjoying what so many of us take for granted,” added Peter.
