Sheppie High teams do battle

Strategy planning: Sheppie High first team hockey player Rayne Redinger in action against Kingsway.

PSHS played netball, hockey and rugby against Kingsway recently. Sheppie High netball teams fought a hard battle against the very strong Kingsway sides.

In the junior division, Kingsway was victorious in most games, but the U15B team managed to beat Kingsway 8-4.

In the open division, the second team lost 18-23 and the first team won with a convincing final score of 22-12. Hockey teams were also successful, winning all but one of their matches.

The girls’ first team won 8-0. The boys’ hockey teams lost one game and drew one and the first team won 2-1. Sheppie High rugby teams won all matches across age groups, including the first team beating Kingsway with an impressive score of 29-8.
